The 2018 Hong Kong-Shandong Week is held in Hong Kong from December 4 to 7. Delegations of Qingdao Hi-tech Zone came to participate in the event on December 3, aiming to reinforce its economic and trade cooperation and communication with Hong Kong.
The Qingdao International Investment Promotion Consultion Institutions Hong Kong Marketing and Investment Attraction Policies Promotion and Business Matchmaking Seminar for Modern Industries was held on December 4 in Hong Kong. At the conference, Qingdao Hi-tech Zone inked an agreement with Shimao Group, announcing the settlement of the 8.5 billion yuan twin tower in Qingdao. The project, to be a new landmark of Qingdao, will play a significant role in improving the image of Qingdao Hi-tech Zone and attracting more finance and tourism industries.
Covering an area of 49,000 square meters, the twin tower is composed of two buildings of about 439 meters. Adhering to high starting point and high standard, the tower is goint to be built into a large-scale Class A office complex integrating functions including high-end business office, headquarters economy, super five-star hotel, cultural business, tourism and sightseeing.
