The launching ceremony of Haohai Science and Technology Internet of Things Industrial Park was held on December 7 in Qingdao Hi-tech Zone. Wang Zheng, member of the working committee and deputy director of the management committee of Qingdao Hi-tech Zone attended the ceremony.
The industrial park will further promote the deep integration of industry, university and research cooperation, and speed up the commercialization of research findings.
With an investment of 80 million yuan, the first phase of the industrial park has constructed a 2,000-square-meter public service platform. The second phase is under planning and undergoes administrative examination and approval. In two years, a construction area of 400,000 square meters will be finished with a total investment of 140 million yuan.
Based on its strategic position and industrial advantages, Haohai Science and Technology Internet of Things Industrial Park will be fostered into a comprehensive park combining the D&R of software, chips and new materials with the mobile Internet of things as the core. Focusing on the development of products such as the test platform of professional mobile Internet of things, panel display test platform and sensor test platform, the industrial park is expected to be a growth engine for the Internet of things industry in Qingdao.
