The 56th Higher Education Expo China will be held in Qingdao, Shandong from May 21 to 23, according to a press conference held on April 22. With an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters, the expo will feature the biggest number of booths, biggest number of exhibitors, and widest coverage of exhibits compared with previous sessions.
The 56th Higher Education Expo China is organized by the China Association of Higher Education, supported by the Department of Education of Shandong Province and Qingdao Municipal People’s Government, and undertaken by Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Education and the Shandong Association of Higher Education .
According to Wang Xiaomei, deputy secretary-general of the China Association of Higher Education, the expo this year consists of eight exhibition zones, including the exhibition of scientific and technological innovation achievements of colleges and universities, exhibition of innovation and entrepreneurship achievements of colleges and universities, exhibition of laboratory and scientific research equipment, information technology and smart education exhibition, etc., with about 3,400 booths, about 1,000 exhibitors, and an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters, and is expected to received more than 100,000 visitors. Besides, about 30 forums and more than 100 academic reports will be held during the expo.
