The 2022 China (Qufu) International Confucius Cultural Festival and 8th Nishan Forum on World Civilizations opened on the morning of Sept. 27 in Qufu, East China’s Shandong province. More than 600 experts, scholars and representatives from all works of life attended the opening ceremony online and offline.
The theme of this year's ICCF is "Commemorating the 2573rd Birthday of Confucius," and the theme of the Nishan Forum on World Civilizations is "The Diversity of Human Civilizations and the Common Values of Mankind."
In addition to the opening and closing ceremonies, the event will also feature over 40 dialogue and exchange activities, including keynote speeches, interviews with diplomatic envoys, high-caliber dialogues and interviews, the awarding ceremony of the UNESCO Confucius Education Prize, Dialogue between Chinese and Greek Classical Civilizations, Forum on Cultural Relics, Literature and Art, World Youth Forum, and World Forum on Scholar Merchant Culture.
