The 3rd RCEP (Shandong) Import Expo commenced on August 18th with an opening ceremony at the Linyi International Expo Center. The ceremony also included the presentation of the "China's Trade and Exhibition Famous City" title.
The expo covers an exhibition area of 35,000 square meters, which is equivalent to 1,200 international standard booths. It comprises of an international pavilion, an intelligent technology pavilion, and a exquisite living pavilion.
The International Pavilion primarily features national pavilions, sister provinces and cities, cross-border e-commerce and international trade service providers, markets for imported goods, cross-border e-commerce platforms and parks, overseas warehouses, and comprehensive bonded zones. The Intelligent Technology Pavilion primarily showcases cutting-edge smart home technology, high-tech electronic products, high-end branded cars, and other innovative goods. The Exquisite Living Pavilion primarily showcases beauty and personal care products, maternity and baby products, imported food and beverages, imported alcoholic beverages, and daily necessities, representing world-class brands that are high quality, unique and excellent.
It is reported that the conference will last for 3 days, with the theme of “New Era, New Opportunities, New Journey”. It has set up 3 exhibition halls with 1210 booths and attracted 536 companies from 56 countries.
